According to a 2006 survey conducted in the United Kingdom, more than 80 percent of people lie at least once a day—and who knows how many people lied on the survey! Respondents also said technology such as email, voice mail and cell phones make it easier to get away with long-distance fibs. (Today in the Word, May 2007)
