Reading the Bible Missionally Michael Duduit December 9, 2016 As editor Michael Goheen observes in the introduction to his new book Reading the Bible Missionally (Wm. B. Eerdmans), has become pervasive in North America. Yet that very sense of overuse may “indicate that something important is being recovered from obscurity.” This volume contains a series of excellent essays by well-known biblical and missiological scholars who discuss reading the scripture using mission as a key interpretive lens. Essay contributors include NT Wright, Richard Bauckham, Christopher J.H. Wright and others. The book is a helpful contribution to the ongoing conversation in hermeneutics.
