On October 29, 2007, The Howard G. Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary is presenting the conference Jesus in Prime Time: What’s “news” about Jesus, and Why does it matter to the church?
Today’s media is reflecting the public’s confusion about who Jesus is. As Christians, it is imperative we are informed and prepared to address these current issues . This conference will feature prominent theologians as they address the latest media coverage on Jesus discussing questions concerning the deity of Christ, canon, and theology. Christian and mainstream media personalities will also provide a first-hand look into how the media approaches religious reporting. The conference will conclude with a panel discussion as church and parachurch leaders dialogue on how to address these issues within our ministries.
If you are a pastor, parachurch leader, student, or lay leader, this event is designed to equip you to be better prepared to answer questions and initiate discussion regarding the media’s coverage of Jesus. See what is being said about this conference.
