Do you ever wonder what you are worth? Recently we read about John Odom, a baseball player for the independent Calgary Vipers, who was traded to the Laredo Broncos for 10 maple baseball bats. That’s enough to give anyone an inferiority complex. It turns out there was more to the story. Calgary had to trade Odom because he could not get clearance to work in Canada. The bats were individually numbered and sold to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not organization. They raised 10 thousand dollars for charity. So, Odom was worth more than it first appeared. Aren’t we all?
