Ludlow Porch is a bit of a Southern legend. He presides over a radio call-in show in Georgia where the talk centers on nostalgia, favorite meals, patriotism, home remedies and other memories. Porch is known for his prowess as a trivia buff. He is also known for his humor. He is the stepbrother of legendary Southern humorist Lewis Grizzard. In an age of shock radio, Porch’s program is a more gentle kind of humor. Porch closes each radio show with this tag line: "Whatever else you do today, find somebody to be nice to." Not bad advice, for no doubt there are people in our paths who need someone to be nice to them.
