In his book Quiet Strength, Tony Dungy, head coach of the Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts, wrote of what was in his mind with 45 seconds to go before his team won the Super Bowl. He writes, “I thought, ‘I’m going to have 30 seconds up on that platform with 100 million people watching. What message do I want to convey?’”
When it came time to speak, Dungy said, “It’s great to win the Super Bowl, but it is certainly not the most important thing in my life.” Dungy continued, “You can have it all and not have anything if you don’t have the Lord in your life.”
