If it was a movie, we’d call it “Revenge of the Deer.”

According to a Sept. 29 UPI story, a New Jersey woman hit a deer with her SUV, only to have the injured animal seek revenge by coming after her in the vehicle.

The deer managed to pry the SUV’s door open. She ultimately was forced to kick the wounded animal down to the ground to keep it from entering the vehicle.

“It was mad, real mad,” the driver explained. “It happened so fast. I just grabbed a handful of antlers and tried to keep it from killing me.”

The deer eventually died due to injuries sustained from the crash. The driver suffered a minor knee injury as a result of her battle with the deer.
