James 1:17-18 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. 1. A gift that brings divine light (1:17) a.     Though I have been given a measure of understanding by the Spirit of the Lord, it is always good to get some help from other sources as well. And I count this sorece as a very good one and food for thought.
