D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones was one of the exceptional preachers of his age, so a new collection of previously unpublished sermons is welcome news. The Christian in an Age of Terror (Kregel), edited by Michael Eaton, includes 25 sermons Lloyd-Jones preached to his London congregation, most during World War II. Contemporary preachers will benefit both from Lloyd-Jones gifted expositions and from his model of providing encouragement in a challenging time.
