We Preach Not Ourselves: Paul on Proclamation
Reviewed On: August 28, 2008

In We Preach Not Ourselves: Paul on Proclamation (Brazos), Michael P. Knowles offers a rich analysis of the apostle’s philosophy of preaching through a study of the early chapters of Second Corinthians. Knowles, who teaches preaching at McMaster Divinity College in Ontario, shows that the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ shape not only Paul’s theology but also his view of and approach to preaching. Preachers will find much of value in this excellent volume.
