Praying at Burger King
Reviewed On: September 01, 2007
Richard J. Mouw is President of Fuller Seminary and an astute observer of the contemporary cultural scene. In his new book Praying at Burger King (Wm. B. Eerdmans), Mouw has collected 36 of his short essays on a variety of themes, from “Eye Contact at McDonalds” to “What About Hell?” His essays are sometimes provactives, frequently humorous and nearly always insightful. It’s a quick read, and a pleasant one.
