Preparing Sunday Dinner
Reviewed On: May 01, 2006

In an effort to "renew worship as an energizing part of Christian living and congregational life," the authors of Preparing Sunday Dinner (Herald Press) use the metaphor of worship as a sustaining and nourishing meal. June Yoder, Marlene Kropf and Rebecca Slough write out of their own Mennonite tradition, but their observations on worship will be of interest to a much wider readership. They deal with both theological and practical issues as they discuss a collaborate approach to worship and preaching.
